On July 21st, Facebook officially became the largest social networking service in the world. 500 million people are now using Facebook to either get in touch with their friends or set up corporate brands. If Facebook were a nation, it would be the 3rd largest one in the entire world, next to China and India. While announcing this surprising news, Mark Zuckerberg, a founder of Facebook, introduced its new service, Facebook Story.
People can now freely share their stories and experiences with other Facebook users via Facebook Story. It is categorized into many different subjects (music, sports, fashion, etc) and also into many different regions (Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, etc). People can easily find the stories they want to listen using this categorization. If you find an intriguing story, do not hesistate to click on "Like". Stories that receive many "Like"s will be marked on the world map so that people can know which stories are attracting people.
Javier Olivan, an International manager of Facebook, pointed out that Korean users are one of its most active and valuable customers. Acknowledging this, he also emphasized that Facebook is very glad to launch a Korean version of Facebook and will do whatever its takes to please the Korean users.
